Item Details
Up for auction is a classic Kodak Duaflex II twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera that dates back to the period from 1947 to 1960. This camera is designed with a top viewfinder lens and a bottom taking lens both housed within an eye-catching art deco style front plate. The body of the camera is in a used condition with visible signs of wear indicative of its age and use over the years; however it retains a timeless charm that would appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike. Its Kodet lens is a simple meniscus lens. This camera originally utilized 620 film rolls to produce square format pictures and includes design elements such as a large viewfinder for ease of composition. While the camera has not been tested with film it is an exquisite piece of photographic history perfect for display or potentially as a functional device for experimental photography should it be in working order. The included carrying strap on this Duaflex II adds practicality to its vintage aesthetic making it an attractive piece for anyone passionate about the heritage of analog photography.
