General Nathan Bedford Forrest by famed artist Michael Gnatek, Jr. in very good condition nicely matted and framed. Nathan Bedford Forrest was a lieutenant general in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He enlisted as a private and was be promoted to general officer and division commander by the end of the war. Although Forrest lacked formal military education, he had a gift for strategy and tactics. He created and established new doctrines for mobile forces, earning the nickname The Wizard of the Saddle. This is one of 1,000 Signed Prints, artist signed, 21" x 28" with bright, vivid colors.
