Item Details

Scott grew up in Michigan with visions of becoming a mountain man. In 1981 he fulfilled his boyhood dream of living in Big Sky country by moving to Montana with his wife Patti. In 1985 they settled in Libby and opened Frontier Taxidermy. Scott's abilities as a taxidermist and artisan earned him many awards at state, national and world competitions. In 1991, bronze sculpture caught Scott's attention and his experience in the taxidermy business made him a natural for sculpting accurate wildlife art. The combination of his love for wildlife and his in-depth knowledge of animal anatomy allow him to create true-to-life wildlife representations. For the Love of the Game is another beautiful piece of work measuring 68"x 19"x 12". Scott has contributed more than $12,000 to the Elk Foundation's Business Partners in Conservation program.
