Overview of Daniel Winkler WK II Belt Knife
Item Details
Winkler Knives II is an alternate approach to an established tradition. The Collection is the result of processes specifically developed to provide high-performance edged tools to Tier 1 Special Operations Teams. Winkler Knives II consists of knives and axes custom made in Winkler's shop. Each design is born of warriors' experience. This compact knife was designed to be a lightweight and high performance tool. It quickly slices through heavy fibrous materials and deeply penetrates hard and soft substances without drifting off course. Blade length is 4 3/4" and overall length is 9". The WK II Belt Knife weighs 6-7 ounces, the ambidextrous kydex lined sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally with minor adjustments. Micarta handles, Caswell No-Glare multi-cam finish. These are favorites of the US Navy SEALS, who use them as world-wide...this is a must have! Donated by Daniel Winkler of Winkler Knives, it is a $485 value. This knife was specially laser-engraved with the "Extortion 17" making it a one of a kind piece. Last year, one went for $800!
