Overview of Remington Defense M24 7.62x51mm Sniper Rifle
Item Details
In an innovative business deal with the Army Materiel Command, Remington Defense was allowed to purchase the spare parts it removes during the conversion of an M24 Sniper Rifle to an XM2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle. These parts, preserved in their original and serviceable condition, are then combined with a new M24 barreled action to create a unique historical firearm that meets all the accuracy requirements of the original military specification. There will be less than 2,000 of these systems produced - and normally only dedicated snipers or active-duty military personell can purchase them. The M24 System includes the rifle, Leupold Mk 4 LR/T M3 10×40mm scope, H-S Precision PST-011 stock, case and most of the original accessories. New items include: receiver, barrel, and trigger assembly. The original hand-painted camouflage paint scheme from the Army user is retained on each rifle. The rifles retail for $3500 and are capable of sub-minute of angle accuracy!
