Proxibid is switching to the new ATG PAY/PAYRIX Payment processing system. Due to the legal ruling in South Dakota Vs Wayfair and new associated regulations, we are required to collect sales tax for the municipality/state in which you register. For this requirement, Proxibid through ATG PAY/PAYRIX has increased our associated processing fees. To pay by credit card, the Internet Premium will be 19.75%, or via ACH (Automated Clearing House network) at 16.75% through the ATG PAY/PAYRIX invoicing system. WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CHECKS THROUGH THE MAIL, PLEASE PAY THROUGH THE ACH SYSTEM. If you are a tax-exempt buyer, you must register with Proxibid/Payrix for the sales tax exemption. If the card on file is declined, we must receive payment within 10 days of the auctions closing date, or you will be marked as a nonpaying bidder with Proxibid. By default your credit card on file will be charged 24 hours following the auction for the full amount of the winning hammer price, plus premiums and applicable fees, EVEN IF YOU ARE A LOCAL BUYER. We charge a $10 administrative fee per firearm (any firearm including black-powder firearms, dummy guns and antiques). IF YOUR ADDRESS HAS CHANGED, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO UPDATE THE ADDRESS WITH PROXIBID BEFORE THE AUCTION. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS DUE TO A NON-UPDATED ADDRESS WITH PROXIBID. SALES TAX PROCEDURES: According to Proxibid, ATG Pay will initially assume every item is for local pickup and charge the Virginia Local sales tax of 6%. If a shipping invoice is added, the sales tax will be adjusted plus or minus for your locality (where you are listed with proxibid). This should happen automatically within ATG pay. Shipping will be charged after item(s) are boxed & ready to ship. Due to recent changes in FEDEX shipping policy (we have been left with no other option but to comply with), the following changes will be in effect: All handguns must be sent FEDEX Next Day Air (Over $500) or USPS Priority Mail (Under $500) including Antiques. FEDEX requires us to send firearms and ammunition adult signature required, no matter the size or quantity which adds to the label cost. Ammunition must be sent FED EX ground only and may not be combined with other items. If your state requires ammunition to be sent to a dealer, we must comply. All Federal Firearms Regulations and Federal/Local/State Laws Apply. No international shipments of firearms or ammunition are allowed. If shipping is international, you MUST go through a US based exporter arranged by the buyer. We charge insurance on each shipment; if you elect to ship without insurance, you must email us your intent within 24 hours following the auctions conclusion. If no insurance is requested, Echoes of glory will not be liable for damage or loss. To bid in this auction, you must have a valid credit card on file. No Chargebacks allowed. Any attempted chargeback will result in the buyer being banned from all future Echoes of Glory Auctions and potentially from the Proxibid service. We will fully prosecute any chargebacks to the fullest extent of the law. Please do not call the auction center the day of the auction.
