Other: single action percussion cap & ball revolver.
Manufactured in 1854 with traces of original factory finish still present in some areas most noticeable on the cylinder. Complete numbers matching revolver with a matching serial numbers present in part or whole on the barrel, barrel key, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, cylinder pin and loading lever. The revolver appears to function as it should with the cylinder being engraved with the standard stage coach scene showing thinning to the finish with almost no wear from handling. Nipples show no deformation and notch lines are crisp and unrounded. The barrel is fitted with a brass post front sight and a notch is integrated into the hammer. The barrel is also marked with a two line address. There are a few areas of very light surface pitting and tool marks most noticeable are located on the right side of the barrel and key. The bore shines bright with nice rifling present and some light surface pitting. The brass trigger guard and back strap show a few small areas of tool marks and the walnut smooth grip panels show only minor light scattered handling indentations.

Zettlemoyer Auction Company accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express for purchases up to $2500.00 by existing customers. There is a 3% fee for payment by credit card. Buyers new to Zettlemoyer Auction Co. shall make payment by wire transfer, money order, or cashier's check.
If you are picking up at Fogelsville Auction Center, please notify us at SignUp Genius of your payment method. Anyone picking up any firearm or firearm lots that sell for $100.00 or less that require a background check will be charged for the background check. That charge is $10.00 for the first firearm and $2.00 for each additional firearm. There is no charge for the background check for any firearms that sell over $100.00 per lot or for lots that do not require a background check.
6% Pa Sales Tax will be charged unless items are shipped out of state or you have a current PA Sales Tax Exemption Form on file with us along with a copy of your Pennsylvania Sales Tax License. If you are not sure if your Tax Exemption information is on file with us, please check before the auction date.

Bidders who choose not to preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. Due to the great volume of firearms in this auction it is impossible for us to fire live rounds through every firearm to determine proper operation. We make no warranty as to complete correct operation of any firearm.
Any description that begins with an asterisk * indicates that item is considered an antique and does not require an FFL for shipping. It will be shipped direct to the Buyer unless you live in California, New Jersey or any other states that are above and beyond.
